“Will Never Forget What You Did For Me” – Davido Celebrates Tekno on Birthday

Yesterday (Monday), DMW Boss, Davido took to Instagram to celebrate his all-time friend, producer and musician, Tekno. The singer aired his warm friendly opinion towards Tekno citing that he will never forget what Tekno did for him. If you are a close follower of Davido’s music, then you probably know that Tekno is the man behind Davido’s all-time hit song ‘If’.

It’s therefore likely that Davido shared his heartfelt sentiments towards the singer, because of all the success that the song has garnered in Nigeria, around the continent and across the pond.  Here is what Davido shared with Tekno  for the “Pana” hitmaker’s birthday.

On Sunday Dec 17^th, Tekno turned 25 as his fans took to various social media channels to wish him a happy birthday. The song, “If” by Davido has been rumoured to be the sole literally work of Tekno and that he handed the entire project, the beat and everything about the song to Davido, with no strings attached. So far the Omo Baba Olowo (O.B.O) has won many awards with the smash hit.

With Wizkid and Davido taking extending the frontiers of Afrobeats music on the global stage this year, next year already feels like the year of Tekno‘s reign with several hit songs already in the bag and a possible collaboration with Canadian rapper, Drake on the way.
