D’Banj – Issa Banger Ft. Slimcase X Mr. Real
Great news for fans of ace Nigerian Afropop singer, D’Banj, as the multi-award winning entertainer kicks off his 2018 campaign with the commission of his first song of the year featuring talented artistes Slimcase and Mr. Real. The brand new track is titled ‘Issa Banger’, and that title definitely don’t lie!
The recently installed ‘Enyi Ka Nwanne of Amuzi’ had a comeback of sorts in 2017 with the release of his latest album ‘King Don Come’ which featured songs such as ‘It’s Not a Lie’ – on which he collaborated with his Mo’Hits brother, Wande Coal, and Harrysong – as well as ‘As I Dey Go’.
Fans of D’Banj were particularly excited to see the ‘Oliver Twist’ hit-maker reunite with other members of the now defunct Mo’Hits crew to perform at Davido’s 30 Billion Concert in Lagos to wrap up the year.
For his latest release, D’Banj jumps on the ‘Shaku Shaku’ trend that’s taken the industry by storm thanks to songs such as ‘Wo!’ and ‘Science Student’ by YBNL boss, Olamide, ‘Rora’ by Lil Kesh, ‘Shepeteri’ by Idowest, ‘Osha Pra Pra’ by Yovi, and ‘Shaku Shaku’ by Dammy Krane.
Obviously, we’re in the very middle of the Ibile season, so it makes perfect sense that the critically-acclaimed performer would dish out this banger at this time for his fans.
