Cassper Nyovest – Check On You Ft. Davido
Guess what, guys? The highly anticipated joint between South Africa’s Cassper Nyovest and Nigeria’s Davido that we’ve all been waiting for is finally here. The scorching jam is titled “Check On You” and it’s been released alongside a banging music video.
Undoubtedly two of Africa’s biggest music exports to the world, Davido and Cassper have both managed to establish themselves as arguably the hottest artistes in each of their countries.
The South African Hip-hop icon who was in Nigeria earlier this year for the Soundcity MVPs where he took home the highly coveted award for Best Hip-hop decided to seize the opportunity to collaborate with Davido who was the big winner of the night.
A snippet of their recording session was put up by the DMW boss on Twitter right after the MVPs and fans literally went wild with anticipation as the little that was heard was already too much too handle.
The track has finally just been released, and it doesn’t disappoint in anyway. OBO and the critically-acclaimed Family Tree Records boss go hard as expected and apparently have such a great time working together.
The smoking joint was produced by the uber-talented Nigeria music producer, Fresh, who creates the perfect platform for the two superstars to work their magic.
“Check On You” is well on its way to becoming the biggest South Africa – Nigeria collaboration we have ever experienced, and you can tell we’re super psyched about the firecracker.
