Vanessa Mdee Announces Release Date For “Money Mondays” Album
Vanessa Mdee is expected to release her new Album “Money Mondays” on December 20th to the relief of her fans and producers who expected the album to be out by March, this year. Speaking to Lake FM earlier in 2017, Vanessa showed a lot of excitement about her new album “Money Mondays”, being her very first album in her music career.
In her Lake FM interview, she was quoted saying:
“It’s a good time for me, it’s my first album and I am excited,”
The 18-tracks album has previously released songs like Juu featuring Jux and Nobody But Me featuring South African hip-hop artists KO and many more interesting features, see the tracklist below.
And this is probably the reason everybody was hoping for Vanessa to release Money Mondays in March 2017. However, even with the delayed launch, Vanessa still holds the record of being the first female artist under the Bongo Flava tag, to release a full album.
Her close counterpart Navy Kenzo released his album just as rumor was starting to build about Vanessa Mdee’s “Money Mondays” earlier this year. Vanessa’s album is expected to sell well across the continent and beyond by popular demand.
Vanessa Hau Mdee also referred to as Vee Money, is a Tanzanian recording artist, songwriter, youth activist, TV and radio host. Mdee is popularly known for being the first ever Tanzanian MTV VJ. She later rose to prominence as a radio and TV host, hosting Epic Bongo Star Search and Dume CHallenge for ITV Tanzania.
