As usual, around this time every year, people get in the Halloween mood and put their favourite costume on for the revered holiday. And, celebrities have always gone in style.
American iconic singer Beyoncé isn’t one to miss out on the fun. Last year, to attend Kelly Rowland’s costume party, she dressed up as American rapper, singer, actress and model Kimberly Denise Jones, known widely as Lil’ Kim.
Well, this year, Queen Bey stepped up her game as she stepped right into the shoes of another power woman in the music industry. This year, the Queen comes through as Toni Braxton as she recreated the cover of Toni Braxton’s debut 1993 studio album, Toni Braxton, to precision and tagged it ‘Phoni Braxton’.
Needless to say, Beyoncé nailed it. In fact, Toni Braxton thought so too as she shared a side-by-side image of her album cover and Beyoncé’s cover, applauding the stunning remake, saying she loves it.
Toni Michelle Braxton ruled the airwaves in the 1990s and Beyoncé recognises and appreciates her for this.
