Fans React to Ycee’s Tinny Entertainment Exit
Earlier this week, news broke that Nigerian singer, Ycee had left the Tinny Entertainment label, a label under which he found fame and became a household name and reactions have continued to trail news of his exit.
A fan had asked Ycee yesterday if he had left Tinny Entertainment and the singer replied in the affirmative, confirming something fans had suspected for a while now and drawing comments on social media.
Ycee broke into the Nigerian music industry after the release of “Condo” on which he featured Patoranking which went viral and won him two nominations at the Nigerian Entertainment Awards of 2015. Ycee has since built on that and made a name for himself with songs like “Jagaban”, “Omo Alhaji”, “Juice” and more.
Because of the fondness he had for Tinny Entertainment, it was common to hear him mention the music label’s name at the beginning of each song which made fans think he owned the music label or at least co-owned it and it came as a surprise to most fans when he said he had left with many expressing concern at his next move.
Well, we join music enthusiasts country-wide to wish Omo Alhaji Ycee all the best going forward and look forward to hearing even better music from him.
