Wizkid And Kenyan Group ‘Sauti Sol’ Collaborates On New Song

There is no doubt that Wizkid is currently having the time of his life as he just released a chart topping album “Sound From The Other Side”, an album that has formally introduced the “Starboy” to the world.

The album is packed with features from some of the best from the African continent and the world at large.

His recently released album coupled with some previous releases has brought so much attention to Wizkid’s craft which in turn earned him some notable unreleased songs and endorsement.

The Starboy who was recently in Nairobi, Kenya for his sold-out concert, during which he announced a collaboration as the group made an appearance on stage.

Even though they have both longed to work together for a while as they are kings of music in their respective countries, the time has never been perfect until now. Both Wizkid and Sauti Sol are very happy about the upcoming collaborative effort.

Fans of Wizkid were excited about the singer’s concert as seen from their reaction. Though the Champaign kept pouring down it didn’t disrupt the party.

The president’s daughter Ngina Kenyatta was also present at the concert. For two nights, Nairobi was all about Wizkid!

The concert which was one of the biggest Kenya has seen in a while saw Kenya’s heavyweight singers, among them Nameless, Redsan, Sauti Sol, Kenzo, H_Art the Band, Fena and Nonini, thrill the mammoth crowd before Wizkid took over to a thrilled response.

The ‘Daddy Yo’ singer did four hours continuously on stage, thrilling fans with most of his well-known hit songs including ‘Ojuelegba’, ‘Sweet Love’ and ‘Come Closer’

The Sauti Sol band have defined collaborating with Wizkid as iconic.  Wizkid is also reportedly working with Jamaican Damian Marley on a new project as he continues to grow his Caribbean fanbase.
