Olamide – Rock

YBNL boss, Olamide has just released his earlier announced single dubbed Rock. 

The new record is Olamide’s first single off his forthcoming album “UY Scutti” which will be available come the 14th of June 2021. 

Rock is a slow love themed record where Olamide carefully serenades his love interest, making his intentions directly known to her without mincing words. On the record, Olamide tries to maintain decorum and be the tough guy but the feeling is one that he can do nothing about.

He sings like a man helplessly falling in love and this is made apparent by the tonality of his voice. The blend of the instrumental, vocals and harmony on the record just about makes it a perfect tune. Rock gives off that special feeling and paints a special love scenery in the imaginations of the listener. 

For the visuals, Olamide employs the expertise of Capital Dream Pictures who does the job of complementing the song with the soothing imagery for the record. 

The UY Scutti album is coming in exactly a month’s time and Rock has just about given us a tip of the type of music to expect. Chill, smooth records all through? We’ll wait.
