Banky W and Adesua Hold Thanksgiving Service and Reception Party in London

You thought the buzz around arguably the most talked about Nigerian celebrity wedding of all time was over? Well, think again. Singer, songwriter, actor and essentially Nigeria’s uncrowned king of R&B, Olubankole Wellington, and his delectable recent bride, actress Adesua Etomi, have just had a lavish thanksgiving ceremony and reception party in London as part of their after-wedding activities.

It would be recalled that the “Wedding Party” co-stars dominated entertainment news headlines in 2017. First came the announcement of their surprise engagement which took even some of their friends by surprise. Then came their highly publicized introduction and traditional wedding ceremonies with all their glitz and glam. To crown it all up really spectacularly was the perfect culmination of the all the wedding activities – that unbelievably star-studded fairy-tale white wedding ceremony in Cape Town, South Africa.

After their wedding which left the Nigerian social media scene agog for quite some time, the couple have recently spent some good time alone at major tourist hotspots in the Caribbeans and the United States of America before heading to London.

Still in the honeymoon spirit, Banky W and Adesua – whose #BAAD2017 wedding documentary, ‘The Wellingtons’, premiered on Africa Magic earlier this month –  had a classy thanksgiving service and reception this past Sunday to further celebrate their love and the successful wedding, and it was such a marvellous outing. The event reportedly took place at a church in London where Adesua’s mother is a pastor.

The beautiful couple couldn’t hide their joy even if they tried, as they danced and celebrated surrounded by their family and close friends who were in attendance. The couple looked as adorable and in love as always, hardly ever taking their eyes off each other as they danced joyfully to Tiwa Savage’s ‘All Over’.
