Mayorkun Reunites With His Dad After Years Apart

Two years after shooting to limelight and shedding his name, Mayokun to become the popular Mayorkun, the DMW act, has reunited with his father who he last saw two years ago in Texas.

Sharing the news on his Instagram page, Mayorkun revealed that the last time his dad saw him, he was Mayokun.

Beautiful and awwww-worthy as that moment was, a cheeky attempt by an IG user to cast aspersions on his father was met with an equally cheeky response from the artist who told the IG user that he checked his profile and knew that his father would not be proud of him.

Mayorkun has in two years become a household name especially after signing on to Davido’s DMW. He has churned out hits and made valuable collaborations that have pushed him forward.

He recently released his single, “Bobo” featuring his label boss, Davido last month and the song has been making waves as expected.

With talent that pronounced, there’s no doubt at all that Mayorkun’s dad would have been proud of him and can be confident that he would become even prouder as the years roll by.
