‘Wizkid Did It, I’m About To Do It’ – Davido On Plans To Sell Out 02 Arena

“It’s called my brother (Wizkid) did it, I’m about to do it”………

Those were the words of Nigeria’s Afro pop singer, Davido as he announced his plan to hold a concert at the historic O2 Arena, United Kingdom, which recently hosted Wizkid’s Afrorepublik Concert.

In a video that has now gone viral on social media, the “Assurance” crooner declared his plan to hold a show in 02 Arena. The DMW boss reiterated his intention to sell out the 20, 000 capacity multi-purpose indoor arena.

In the video, he expressed the hope to match the feat recently achieved by his friend and colleague, Wizkid.

Last month saw Wizkid establish himself as a legend when he sold out the arena, days before the event; a move that has now cemented his prominence in the international music market.

This achievement has now fuelled Davido to replicate the same feat and engrave his name in the hall of fame.

Davido’s plans to sell out the 02 Arena is achievable  considering the massive success of songs like IF, FALL and FIA in the United Kingdom which has gone on to be certified as Gold and Platinum.

Plus, his recent announcement as being billed to perform at Jay-Z’s “Made In America” Music Festival further lends credence to his the possibility of holding a record-breaking show like Wizkid did.
