Tiwa Savage Makes History As First African Female Artiste To Sell Out Indigo At The O2

Tiwa Savage is on a run, a really good one at that. She’s been in the headlines for all of the right reasons, thankfully and this time, she adds a record-breaking feat to the fray and we are excited for her.

The “Eminado” crooner made history recently as the first African female artiste to headline a show at the prestigious Indigo at the O2 Arena in London, UK, selling out the 3,000 capacity hall on Friday the 24th of August.

Tiwa Savage who kicked off The Savage Tour with a performance at the O2 Arena in London will have every cause to be happy as she thrilled fans on a night many expected a lot from her.

Over the years since she got her break into the industry, Tiwa Savage has dropped hit songs like “Kele Kele Love”, “Eminado”, “Ife Wa Gbona”, “Folarin” and other songs that grabbed the attention of the industry.

Tiwa Savage kicked off the year with a collaboration with Di’Ja on “The Way You Are”, dropped “Get It Now” in February, dropped a remix of “Get It Now” in April featuring Omarion on it, before going on to release “Tiwa’s Vibe”, “Labalaba”, and featuring on DJ Consequence‘s “Do Like This” alongside Mystro.

As she scores another huge win in her career, we congratulate her and hope to see more of things like this.
