Banana Island Ghost (B.I.G) Premieres Amidst Glitz and Glamour

The Harbour Point Event Center, Victoria Island, Lagos witnessed the crème de la crème of the Nigerian entertainment industry on Sunday. The event was the official world premiere of the movie, Banana Island Ghost (B.I.G).

Some of the star names present were cast members Ali Nuhu, Tomiwa Edun, Saidi Balogun, Lala Akindoju, Akah Nnani, Uche Jombo, Damilola Adegbite, Dorcas Fapson, Ozzy Agu, Lord Frank, Makida Moka and Bimbo Ademoye.

There were other celebrities present as well such as Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Omawunmi, OC Ukeje, Michelle Dede, Inidima Okojie, Eku Edewor, Freeze, Osas Ighodaro Ajibade, Ill Rhymz, Lamide Akintobi, Beverly Naya, Linda Ejiofor, Tomi Odunsi, Beverly Osu, as well as Big Brother Naija Stars Bisola, Kemen and Uriel, and several others.

An action-comedy, Banana Island Ghost (B.I.G) will hit the cinemas across the nation on August 4th. It stars Chioma ‘Chigul’ Omeruah who plays the role of Ijeoma and co-stars alongside Patrick Diabuah, who plays Ghost.

The plot is for the Ghost to fall in love within 3 days for Ijeoma to attempt to stop and prevent her father’s house in Banana Island from being taken by the bank.

Banana Island Ghost (B.I.G) was written and directed by BB Sasore, while the movie was produced by Omorinsojo Spaine and Tolu Olusoga.

Biola Alabi, and Derin Adeyokunnu are executive producers and co-executive produced the movie with others including Dr. Ayo Osunrinade, Michael Ugwu,  Adenike Adekanbi , Niyi Toluwalope and Basheer Tosin Ashafa. .

With its early ratings and projections, Banana Island Ghost (B.I.G) is definitely set to continue with the push of the Nigerian movie industry, more popularly referred to as Nollywood, towards global standards.
