Wasafi records musician Mbosso has joined the list of artistes producing praise songs for Tanzanian President John Magufuli and the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) party.
Over the weekend, Mbosso dropped ‘Tamba Magufuli’; a remix of his hit song ‘Tamaba’.
In the song, Mbosso has poured all sorts of praises to President Magufuli, assuring him of a win against all opponents.
“Mambo yamepamba moto, CCM ndio chama namba 1, Kwetu si maneno hapa kazi, Wapinzani tumbo joto kila sehemu wako taabani, Ushindi kwa Magu wazi wazi,,,Nuzur sawia uamuzi ndio sifa yake….” The song’s lyrics read in part.
Mbosso has also been keen to highlight the president’s promises that have been fulfilled so far.
To him, Magufuli should get another term to the year 2025, since he has helped develop the country, and is currently overseeing a number of incomplete projects, which he needs to be reelected to complete.
The song has been well received among the political class. Shortly after it was released, a video of CCM party leaders surfaced online showing the Regional Commissioner of Dar es Salaam Bw. Paul Makonda introduce the song to the other members of the party.
In an Instagram post, Mbosso thanked Makonda for showing him love and support.
