Professor – Composed by Jesus Christ
Coming out of a rather significant hiatus of album releases, prolific South African Kwaito pioneer and Kalawa Jazmee frontman, Professor, has just released his brand new album titled ‘Composed by Jesus Christ’.
Professor, whose real name is Mkhonzeni Langa, hails from Durban, and first rose to prominence as one half of the highly successful Durban-based Kwaito duo, Tzozo and Professor.
The talented musician however opted to pursue a solo career after some time, branching out on his own to carve a huge niche for himself on the South African music scene with smash hits such as ‘Jezebel’, ‘Imoto’, ‘Lento’, ‘Fingerprints’, and ‘Speaker’.
Containing previously released songs such as ‘Unobenga’, ‘Location’ and ‘Brand New’, ardent fans of Professor will be particularly excited to see that the highly anticipated album, ‘Composed by Jesus Christ’, easily cuts across a myriad of genres.
