L.A.X – Rasaking
After much teasing and anticipation, Afrobeat forerunner L.A.X officially launches his debut album titled “RasaKing” and it is fire!
“RasaKing” is a fifteen track debut album with featuring notable Nigerian artistes like Yemi Alade, Davido, Moelogo, Maleek Berry, Timiboi and Bharry Jay.
The highly anticipated album is produced by an elite team of producers including Clemzyonthebeat, Lekaa Beats, Spotless and Blaise Beatz and was unveiled with the short movie “Ile Aye”.

Damilola Afolabi, populary known as L.A.X is a Nigerian rapper, songwriter and performer. He initially ventured into music by forming a music group called Flyboiz, releasing a single titled “Busy Body”. Although, he later left the band to further his education abroad.
In 2012, L.A.X released his official debut single “Jaiye” which featured Chocolate City’s Ice Prince . Upon his return to Nigeria, he met Wizkid through his stylist and went on to sign his first professional recording contract with Starboy Entertainment in 2013.
On the 20th of August 2013, L.A.X teamed up with Wizkid to release his first single under Starboy Entertainment titled “Caro” which gained massive airplay and further announced him to the Nigerian music industry.
“Caro” was nominated in the “Hottest Single of The Year” category at the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards. L.A.X followed the success of “Caro” by featuring Wizkid on another song titled “Ginger”. The song was nominated in the ‘Best Collaboration’ category at the 2014 edition of BET Television Awards.
L.A.X is well known for songs like “Panana”, “Nobody” ft Wizkid ,“Fine Boy” featuring Olamide, “Open and Close”, “Ole” featuring Dremo & YCEE, “Big Daddy” and“Run Away”.
The “RasaKing” album is an eclectic mix of groovy and soulful tunes guaranteed to have you connecting with your african roots and you should get on it right away.
