Wizkid, Falz, Basketmouth Surprise Audience at Ycee’s The Juice Concert in London

If you’ve not been under a rock this past year, then of course you know that the Tinny Entertainment signed ‘Omo Alhaji’ rapper, Ycee, had an absolutely phenomenal 2017.

His critically-acclaimed 8-track ‘First Wave EP’ which was released in April 2017, featured industry favourites such as Reekado Banks, Falz, and Soundcity MVPs Best Pop and Best New Artiste, Maleek Berry, with whom Ycee collaborated on his mega smash hit ‘Juice’.

It was therefore most befitting that the ‘Jagaban’ hit-maker had his first headline show “The Juice Concert” this last Friday at the O2 Academy, Islington in London.

The highly-anticipated show – which was hosted by renowned On-Air-Personality, Beat FM London’s Adesope (Shopsydoo) – featured supporting acts such Eugy, Sona, Bella, MsBanks, and Flosha, and was no doubt a huge success for the rapper.

However, the audience got much more than they anticipated as superstars Wizkid, Falz & ace comedian Basketmouth also made surprise appearances to everyone’s delight.

Even though he emerged ‘Best Digital Artiste’ at the award show, Wizkid was absent from the Soundcity MVPs which held on the same day in Lagos, just so he could show some support to Ycee. The MOBO 2017 Best International Act had the audience going wild when he came on stage and performed his hit song ‘Manya’ alongside Ycee.

As if that wasn’t enough for one night, the ‘Wehdone Sir’ rapper, Falz, subsequently came on to thrill the fans even more. Falz performed his firecracker, ‘Something Light’, alongside his collaborator on the track, Ycee, and it was epic!

One can only look forward to what tricks Ycee has up his sleeve this year. We honestly can’t wait to be blown away.
