Don Jazzy Apologises in Response to Body-Shaming Allegations

If there’s one thing any ardent fan of Don Jazzy knows, especially if you follow him on social media, it’s his frequently self-professed crush on international music superstar and global fashion icon, Rihanna.

The uber-successful Mavin Records boss is notorious for putting up hilarious posts affirming his supposed feelings about the Barbadian ‘Work’ singer. The prolific ace producer’s latest post to that effect however didn’t exactly get the type of attention Don Jazzy was hoping for and has caused quite a stir.

Don Jazzy put up a photo which essentially graded 4 women according to their looks and asked viewers to pick one based on their phone battery percentages.  One of the women in the collage was Rihanna, who had the highest grade with 76% – 100%.

The other three, as far as we could tell, were just random ladies. Of course, Don Jazzy indicated to his fans that Rihanna was his obvious choice. That was supposed to be the end of the story but, interestingly, it wasn’t.

The lady with the 26% – 50% grade saw Don Jazzy’s post and was pretty irked by it. She took to twitter on her handle @theslumflower to express her displeasure with the following tweet:

I love being body shamed and slandered by Nigerian musicians. Thank you for being horrible @DONJAZZY. Hope it’s worth it!

Being the true gentleman that he has proven himself to be over time, Don Jazzy quickly reacted to the tweet by apologising to the lady, but not before taking down the apparently controversial post.

Take a look at how things played out below:

This isn’t the first time Don Jazzy is taking actions that show that he’s a proper gentleman. Fans would recall that, barely two months ago, the jovial entertainment mogul fired his bodyguard who was caught verbally assaulting a lady on camera.

Maybe one or two of our celebrities could learn a thing or two from Don Jazzy.
