Di’Ja Confirms She’s Expecting Second Baby

Of course, virtually everybody who has kept up with Nigeria’s leading celebrities over the past couple of years will recall how we were all taken by surprise when Mavin Records Princess, Di’ja, announced that she had given birth to her first child. Many of had no idea that she was pregnant at all, or even married for that matter, but she apparently was.

Things aren’t so hush hush this time around though, as the beautiful Afropop singer – who just dropped the music video for her joint ‘The Way You Are’ with labelmate and Nigerian music industry leading lady, Tiwa Savage – has just let it slip that she’s expecting her second baby. Such great news!

Di’ja recently made the unexpected reveal when she responded to an Instagram post by popular vlogger, Adanna Steinacker (daughter of former governor of Imo State, Dr. Ikedi Ohakim) about decluttering in preparation for the arrival of her second baby.

The artiste, in response to the vlogger’s post, hinted that her second baby would be arriving soon as well, and that she was yet to start decluttering.

“Lmao God help me declutter for the next arrival. So close and I haven’t started ?. Where have u been all my life @adanna_david lol”

Even though Di’ja has come to be known for being considerably private about her personal life, this recent announcement of hers is obviously great news, not just for the expectant mother (whose real name is Hadiza Blell) and her husband, Rotimi, who got married in 2015, but also for her record label – the Don Jazzy led Mavin Records – her labelmates, and of course, her teeming fans.

It’s great to see Di’ja holding things down so well as a Nigerian music artiste with a flourishing music career, but also as a wife, and as a mother.

We’re obviously excited for her, and honestly can’t wait for the baby to arrive.
