J. Cole to Headline Concert in Lagos Alongside Wizkid & Davido

Castle Lite Nigeria is hosting the highly anticipated Castle Lite Unlocks concert in April and alongside Nigeria’s biggest music industry superstars right now, Davido and Wizkid, internationally acclaimed American rapper, J. Cole will be headlining the show.

With four stellar studio albums to his credit – notoriously having the last two go Platinum without any features at all – the Grammy-nominated J. Cole is unarguably one of the most gifted and successful rappers on the international rap scene presently.

The superstar rapper will be performing in Lagos alongside Wizkid and Davido at Castle Lite Nigeria‘s Castle Lite Unlocks Concert which will hold at the prestigious Eko Hotels & Suites on April 27.

Although this won’t be the first time J. Cole’s would be performing at a concert in Africa (having previously performed in Johannesburg, South Africa two years ago) his anticipated appearance at the upcoming Castle Lite Unlocks concert will be the rapper’s first performance in Nigeria, and that’s something to be psyched about.

It might however be somewhat surprising that J. Cole is lined up to headline the show with Davido and Wizkid, Afro-pop artistes, as opposed to his fellow Hip-hop artistes. It is understandable though that, for this concert, only the very best will suffice.

Seeing that the opening acts for Castle Lite Unlocks have not yet been revealed, we definitely expect that a few of our favourite Nigerian rappers will get the chance to work their magic for the audience before the headliners come on stage to knock it right out of the park.
