Davido Talks About Friendship With Christiano Ronaldo and World Cup Hopes on Goal Playlist
The latest episode of Goal Playlist features none other than the multi award winning Nigerian Afropop artiste Davido as the show’s guest. By all indications, the superstar had a wonderful time.
Among a myriad of other things, Davido talked to the sports channel about playing football while growing up and the state of his friendship and hopes for a collaboration with the reigning FIFA Player of the Year, Cristiano Ronaldo, whom he mentioned on his 2017 mega smash hit, “Fall”.
Davido also got to share the experience of being invited by Nigeria’s Victor Moses to meet other Chelsea players in their locker room at Stamford Bridge just after defeating Tottenham 2-1 in 2016.
The DMW boss made his expectations for Nigeria at the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup clear, stating that he believes the Super Eagles can go all the way despite being drawn in a tough group.
Soccer fans must already be aware that the Super Eagles have their work cut out for them having been drawn in group D alongside heavyweights Argentina and two blossoming European sides, Croatia and Iceland.
Finally, Davido got the chance to play a little game where he was shown football jerseys and had to guess which countries’ teams they belonged to. Just how well (or terribly) did Davido fare? Find out for yourself in the video below.
