Davido, Comedienne Emmanuella nominated for Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2018

Sensational Nigerian child comedienne Emmanuella of the popular Mark Angel Comedy Series has received yet another major international recognition having just recently been nominated in the Favourite African Star category of the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.

Emmanuella, whose recent comedy skits hit close to a million views within the first week of their release, has notably appeared in ad campaigns for Nickelodeon and Wikipedia and became the youngest recipient of the Afro-Australian Music & Movie Awards (AAMMA) where the 7 year old bagged two awards at the event held in Sydney, Australia.

In case it’s not obvious just how major her Kids’ Choice Awards nomination is just yet, Emmanuella – who will soon feature in a Disney movie – is nominated in the Favourite African Star category alongside Nigerian Afropop sensation and DMW boss, Davido, the only other nominated Nigerian in the category.

Other nominees in the star-studded and keenly contested category are South African sprinter Caster Semanya and rapper Cassper Nyovest, Tanzanian Bongo Flava singer Diamond Platnumz, and Uganda’s Eddy Kenzo.

The Nickelodeon 2018 Kids’ Choice Awards will have WWE Superstar John Cena returning as the host and will air on Nickelodeon (DStv channel 305) and Nick Toons (DStv channel 308) on the 24th of March.
