Sauce Kid Released From US Prison
Popular Nigerian rapper Sauce Kid (whose real name is Babalola Falemi) has just been released from a U.S. federal prison after serving out his two year jail sentence.
Sinzu, as the rapper is fondly called, was incarcerated in the United States of America for aggravated identity theft, having been accused of stealing bank card numbers and identifying information of their owners, and allegedly stealing $15,388 from unsuspecting victims.
As can be recalled, law enforcement agents caught up with the rapper as he wanted to board a flight at Boise Airport in Idaho, United States of America.
According to authorities, Sauce Kid was said to have obtained stolen bank card numbers and identified information from their owners. He then encoded the account numbers onto blank plastic cards.
It was alleged that after using an automated system to change account PINs, Sauce Kid was able to withdraw cash from bank ATMs and bought merchandise from stores between July 23 and 26, 2016.
At the time of his arrest, police said that Sauce Kid was caught with a card-encoding device and about $6,000 cash. The rest, as they say, is history.
Sauce Kid has now been released from prison after completing his 2 year jail term and is now a free man once more.
On Sunday, March 25, a video surfaced on Instagram, showing Sauce Kid in a black T-shirt and red pants being welcomed from jail by a close friend.
