Davido Signs Sauce Kid To DMW
Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) under the leadership of superstar Davido welcomes a new addition to the label, and it’s non other than US based Nigerian artiste, Sinzu also known as Sauce Kid.
This is coming just shortly after sensational singer Idowest was signed to DMW, a move Davido described Idowest deserving of as he has proved himself. And just about a week later, he made this impressive move after teasing on his social media platform that he was signing yet another new artiste.
Davido and DMW made the announcement on their Instagram pages, sharing a photo of the artiste signing his contract. The caption read:
”Announcing my new artiste, New DMW signee, Sinzuu.”
Sauce Kid, whose real name is Babalola Falemi was recently released from a United States jail after serving two years for aggravated identity theft. He now seems to be making a fresh start by joining Davido himself, Mayorkun, Dremo, Peruzzi Yonda and Idoweat in DMW, although many were expecting that the next artiste that Davido would sign would be a female since the “Assurance” hit maker mentioned he had plans to do such.
The rapper who once c collaborated with Davido on a hit song ‘Carolina’, was released from a US Federal prison in March 2018 after serving a two year jail term for stealing $15,388 using stolen credit card numbers.
While he isn’t based in Nigeria, Sauce Kid had nevertheless given some hit songs to his home country in the past, such as delivering hit records like “Yebariba”, “E don dey mad”, “Under G” and “Carolina” which he was recently seen performing live with Davido.
