Again, M.I Abaga Fails To Release The “Yung Denzl” Album

“I promise this time #YxngDxnzl”
– Those were the words of M.I Abaga some four months ago (February 7) when he announced the postponement of the release of “Yung Denzl” which would have been his fourth album.
The veteran rapper had announced in the third quarter of 2017 that the Yung Denzl album would be released in the last quarter of the year (2017).
In a bid to heighten anticipation, M.I released the controversial “You Rappers Should Fix Up Your Lives”– a track that challenged the state of Nigerian hip-hop artistes who took the singing route for its simplicity.
Needless to say, the infamous track caused uproar and sparked up various debates amongst rappers and hip-hop followers.
Many thought the controversial track was a perfect roll-out plan for the release of the Yung Denzl album. Alas, followers of the hip-hop religion were disappointed when the Chocolate City boss failed.
Why The Yung Album Is Highly Anticipated
M.I is a revered musician acclaimed to be king of Nigerian hip-hop due to his slick lyrical and musical prowess he has shown over the years.
His last album “The Chairman” released in 2014 and enjoyed a laudable commercial success received mixed reactions with many questioning the quality of his lyrical prowess.
The level of bragging displayed in “Fix Up Your Lives” further heightened the anticipation of hip-hop lovers, and caused uproar among the players in the Nigerian hip-hop community.

The endless chatter over his inability to deliver the Yung Denzl album made the rapper break the ice and promise to release it last month.
May is gone, and M.I has once again failed to release the Yung Denzl album.
