Wizkid Never Gave Me Drugs – May D Explodes
Contrary to what Osagie Alonge said in his podcasts, May D, the “Love Overdose” mastermind, has come out to say that Wizkid neither stole his melodies nor gave him drugs.
He made this clarification in a series of tweets. First he made it clear that it was a collaboration he had with the “Soco” hitmaker.
His first tweet reads: “It has been brought to my attention some false news going around saying Wiz accommodated me & gave me drugs as well as stole my melody. None of this is true. We both collaborated on a track called “Bamilo” which we never shot a video for & that’s that!”
He went ahead to describe Wizkid as a legend and someone he has a lot of respect. He wondered why someone would try to bring Wizkid down and even prayed for is continued lifting.
His concluding tweet reads: “For some people to try and bring down a Legend of our time !! I can’t believe this @wizkidayo God will keep uplifting you and you will keep breaking boundaries!!! And as for you guys, Make we no see for road!”
On his Instagram, he posted an image with a message in caps. It was his repudiation of the caim that Wizkid gave him drugs. It reads: “WTF!!!!! WIZ NEVER GAVE ME DRUGS NOR KEEP ME IN HIS HOUSE… NOW THATS A VERY FUCKED UP THING TO SAY!!! FUCK THIS GUYS.”
Wizkid has not made a comment ever since the controversy broke into the open. And with Alonge apologizing and May D denying, Wizkid seems set to have the last laugh.
