Mr Eazi’s International Passport Seized; May Reschedule Canadian Tour

Ghanaian rapper and tech advocate Mr Eazi, who recently made the nominee list for the Vodacom Ghana Music Awards, is battling to retrieve his international passport which was seized by the United States Embassy in London for some undisclosed reasons.

The seizing of his passport has put his Canadian tour on hold and Mr Eazi himself has announced he might reschedule. He took to his Insta Story to thank fans standing by him through his predicaant and to update them on the situation.

“I wanna thank all my fans for the support & understanding thus far, the update is that my passport is still at the US Embassy here in London and as such even tho i have my Canadian visa, i cannot travel to make it to my show in Canada as i cannot leave the UK without an international passport. My team will be providing details on rescheduling & refunds etc bless up,” he wrote on his Insta Story.

He followed that up with another post, saying he might have to cancel all his March tours if at at the end of business day his passport was not released.

However, he was mum on the reason for the withholding of his passport by Inoted States Embassy in London.
