Mr 2Kay Shares His Sexual Abuse Story

As news around the allegation of Busola Dakolo that Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly raped her when she was a child continues to trend, singer, Mr. 2Kay has come forward with his own account of his sexual abuse story.

According to the “Elevated” crooner, his sexual abuse started when he was in Junior Secondary School, and it was by one of his seniors in Secondary school who liked to describe him as her school son.

Mr. 2Kay has since taken down the post but he got a lot of people to react on this. He was vulgar too which may have been cause for taking it down but the message is not lost on everyone that, rape, particularly of minors is a reality that has existed for long and has gone largely unaddressed.

Dotun had also shared his story first, about how he was molested by their maid and even more heartbreaking stories continue to emerge from Nigerians who are determined to confront their demons and let it all out.

It’s a period of cleansing for Nigerians and following news that Rev Fatoyinbo has stepped down, a lot more people may just be poised to share their stories.
