Tekno Apologizes for Dancing With Strippers in Public

Singer, Tekno has apologized over a video going round that had him dancing with strippers in a display van around Lekki, Lagos.

The video showed him spraying the strippers money and spanking their butts, an offense which could earn him at least 3 years in jail.

According to him though, it wasn’t an advert of any sort. They were on their way to a location after a shoot for a music video and were just having fun while going and had no intention of causing problems.

In his words: “As part of the concept of the music video, we had a night scene in a truck and the truck was to move to the next location in Victoria Island, Lagos, at about 12 midnight; but our production van was faulty, so we had to convey our artist and models in the transparent truck.”

While the Lagos State Government has already suspended the license of advertising agency, Pro-Vision Media Systems Limited whose van was used to convey the strippers, Tekno said the agency had nothing to do with it with the agency themselves releasing a statement that they already sold the van last year.
