Zuchu features her mother on her new song Mauzauza

Wasafi’s Zuchu has dropped the visuals to her latest hit ‘Mauzauza’ featuring her mother Khadija Kopa.

‘Mauzauza’ is a taarab song that talks about backstabbing among women. The jam is off her debut EP ‘I am Zuchu’.

The video directed by Director Kenny has been well done, and captures different sceneries of Dar es Salaam.

The director makes an effort to ensure all the lyrics come to life in the visuals. From the perspective of the audio, one will mistake Zuchu as an original taarab musician as her voice perfectly blends with Kopa’s.

It is clear that Zuchu’s upbringing in a music family has immensely contributed to her current versatility in the music industry.

Through her Instagram account, Zuchu called on fans to enjoy the song terming her mother as the legend of taarab music.

“Ladies and Gentlemen Naomba Niwakaribishe kutazama video ya Wimbo wangu Wa MAUZAUZA niliomshirikisha THE LIVING LEGEND,QUEEN OF TAARAB @officialkhadijakopa,” posted Zuchu.
