Swat Matire releases new hit dubbed Zogo

Renowned gengetone artist Swat Matire from Ethic has released a new video dubbed ‘Zogo’ featuring Dullar.

‘Zogo’ is a feel good jam with amazing beats and lyrics that’ll sweep off your feet.

The audio was produced by the incredible Mavo on the Beat and comes out as one of gengetone’s clean tracks.

Gengetone as a music genre has been popularly categorized as the type of music that contains exclusive content, but Swat has distanced himself from this belief with his new ‘Zogo’ video.

In the new release, Swat proves his ability to stand alone as an artist by delivering rhyming lyrics accompanied by a catchy chorus.

Swat whose real name is Boniface Mwangi was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya and started doing music in the year 2015 after working as a tattooist and as a photocopy attendant.

He and other Ethic entertainment crew members met at a movie shop and vibed to a beat which went on so well that they decided to go to the studio as a group in 2017.

They later released their first song ‘Lambo Lolo’ as a group which became an instant anthem all over East Africa.
