“Eleko” crooner Mayorkun has dropped his debut studio album titled “The Mayor Of Lagos.” The album has got some musical thunder, as you will find out presently.

 “The Mayor Of Lagos” is a 14-track affair, with Davido, and Seun “Banko” Lloyd-Kuyinu as executive producers. Production credits go to Speroach Beatz, Cracker Mallo, Fresh VDM, Kiddominant, DJ Coublon, Phantom, Northboi and Killertunes.

By far, my favourite tracks are “Intro (Feelings)” (Feat. My Mum), (in which Mayorkun tells his story. The rapper has come a long way and he is one voice that cannot be ignored in Nigerian music at the moment); “Drama Queen” and “Mama.”

“The Mayor Of Lagos” may be Mayorkun’s first album, but it carries as much lyrical grace as anything out there. In this album the DMW star has delivered nothing short of a universe of good vibes.
