Various Artistes – Global Citizen EP 1

As the Global Citizen Festival approaches, partnered artists have now released the first Global Citizen EP. Some of the various Artistes that graced this new album include Coldplay’s own Chris Martin,  South African Hip Hop crooner  Cassper Nyovest, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage among others.

The Global Citizen initiative is a noble campaign supported by tens of renowned figures in the world’s entertainment scene, particularly in music. The initiative’s main aim is to end global poverty by 2030.

Through their talents and the support of well-wishers, the foundation’s partners basically create awareness for the rest of the world about the state of some of the poorest countries in the world. This way, the group is able to mobilize people to support it towards the noble cause of eradicating world poverty by 2030.

Some of the songs in this year’s Global Citizen EP include Rise Up (Featuring the late Mandela), E-Lo, Timbuktu, and Voodoo featuring (Tiwa Savage, Wizkid among others)
