Di’Ja Welcomes Baby Girl!

Great news for lovers of Di’ja and her music as the beautiful Mavin Records princess is now a mother two times over, having just announced the birth of her second child, a girl, who was born on March 9.

Known for keeping her personal business as far away from the public eye as possible, Di’ja is one of the few Nigerian celebrities who have managed to keep arguably the most important details of their personal lives private.

It would be recalled that even some of her colleagues in the industry were surprised when the news of her quiet marriage to her husband Rotimi in 2015 surfaced online. Similarly, the birth of her first child was a shocker to virtually everyone as only a handful of very close people had any idea that the songstress was pregnant.

In similar fashion, Di’ja was largely able to keep her second pregnancy a secret. We only figured things out for ourselves from the comment she left on an Instagram post about decluttering before the arrival of a new baby by vlogger, Adanna David.

In the post with which she announced the arrival of her baby girl to the world, Di’ja thanked everyone who was supportive throughout her pregnancy and even revealed that she was heavily pregnant during the shooting of the music video for her latest song “Gbadun”.

According to Di’ja, she went into labour on March 8 while doing a photoshoot and had no idea she was already due to be delivered of her baby.

The proud mother of two captioned her post thus:

My mother is God’s gift. #GRANDMA and her grandkids. Wow I now have TWO children now (a boy and a girl). Alhamdullilah. Ubangiji Allah sai Godiya. I’m the happiest woman alive. God bless my husband , mother, father, and my brother and his family @msfaddy..heck my whole family! My daughter came on 9th MARCH 2018. Thanking everyone that has been there and been private with us. Have to thank @paul_gambit for shooting me heavily pregnant on the way you are #gbadun you music video (some will go and watch it again.) Thanks to the amazing styling of @funmi_fagbemi And @juongerald. My Mavin family for their undying support and helping a pregnant lady finish her EP #Aphrodija and most of all my amazing family full of friends and support system. Mama bear of 2 ??. Allah ya Raya mana su.

To think I was in labour on the 8th of March while doing a photoshoot with @michaeltubescreations and didn’t know??. Women are truly amazing. I cannot wait for what is in store. Allahu Akbar.
