Diddy meets Wizkid, says he Wants to Come “back home”

American rapper, P. Diddy is all about loving his roots lately. Diddy who met with Nigerian superstar, Wizkid in New York, United States showed how excited he was in an Instagram post he shared recently.

According to Diddy, Wizkid brought some positive vibes to him from the motherland and he is coming back home while he is still young and pretty. The video also showed Fergie and Wizkid being ‘cool’ on camera.

Sean Combs aka P Diddy is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, record producer, and entrepreneur. Born in New York City, he worked as a talent director at Uptown Records before founding his label Bad Boy Entertainment in 1993.

His debut album “No Way Out” (1997) has been certified seven times platinum and was followed by successful albums such as “Forever” (1999), “The Saga Continues…” (2001), and “Press Play” (2006).

In 2009, P Diddy formed the musical group, Diddy – Dirty Money and released the critically well-reviewed and commercially successful album, “Last Train to Paris” (2010).

P Diddy has won three Grammy Awards and two MTV Video Music Awards, and is the producer of MTV’s Making the Band. In 2018, Forbes estimated his net worth at $825 million, making him the second-richest hip-hop artiste.

Starboy Entertainment boss, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun aka Wizkid is a Nigerian artiste, entertainer and performer. He started recording music at age 11 and managed to release a collaborative album with the Glorious Five, a group he and a couple of his church friends formed.

In 2009, he signed a record deal with Banky W‘s record label Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E). He rose to prominence in 2010 with the release of the song “Holla at Your Boy” from his debut studio album, “Superstar” (2011). Wizkid later parted ways with EME before launching his label, Starboy Entertainment in 2017.

Over the years, Wizkid has had notable singles and collaborations like “Ma lo” feat. Tiwa Savage, “One Dance” ft Drake, “Soco” ft Terri, Ceaza & Spotless, “Kana” ft Olamide , “Love My Baby“, “Pakurumo“, “Oluwa Lo Ni” “Jaiye Jaiye“, “On Top your matter”, “Joy“, “Bombay“, “Show You the Money” and lots more.

The news of Diddy‘s intended visit has Nigerians super excited. The artiste will surely be getting a royal welcome.
